A Certified Wildlife Biologist and Certified Professional Wetland Scientist, Eric is the "go to" guy for the Environmental side of James C Karo Associates. As our alliance partner, Eric has over 20 years experience completing and managing EA and EIS studies, baseline wildlife and vegetation studies, rare species studies, mitigation planning, wetland permitting and mitigation, restoration/re-vegetation, construction monitoring, and environmental planning/permitting.

Eric's special expertise is in permit preparation and negotiations regarding wetlands, threatened and endangered species, and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). He is experienced at permitting with the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service (USFWS), Army Corps of Engineers (COE), FERC, U.S. Forest Service (USFS), Bureau of Land Management (BLM), and many state agencies.

He has conducted and managed EA and EIS studies; wildlife, vegetation, wetland, and threatened and endangered species studies; and environmental planning/permitting for hundreds of projects in western United States, and internationally and has worked closely with the BLM, USFS, ACOE, FERC, USFWS, and many other state agencies.
